For Spring/Summer 2011, Sydney-based label Vanishing Elephant presents this multifaceted collection inspired by the beginning and subsequent flourishing of a romantic affair. Created by designers Felix Chan, Huw Bennett and Arran Russel, Vanishing Elephant’s aesthetic is often influenced by vintage, pre-loved garments, something which can be seen in the recent collection. The casual broken-in chinos and printed button-down shirts serve as a perfect compliment to some of the more elegant and romantic pieces like a brocade woven dinner jacket and tailored suiting.
